Kitty Kitty Bang Bang AKA Knitty Knitty Bang Bang.

Since I went out a couple of weeks ago and bought myself a new car, I've got to tighten the purse strings a little to accommodate a car payment again. The most obvious place I could stand to cut back on my spending is my yarn buying.

One of my goals for 2010 is to knit from the stash as much as possible. My stash is already pretty full - I've got yarn for at least a dozen sweaters, and probably enough to make 3 dozen pairs of socks (if not more... probably WAY more). I've got an amazing assortment of worsted/sport/bulky weight yarns that should be able to fulfill any needs. I don't really need to buy yarn.

I also received some hefty gift certificates to Hill Country Weavers for Christmas - so that should hold me for a while too.

But in the meantime, my lizard brain is panicking and telling me that I need to stock up or I'll be yarnless in 2010. So I've been taking full advantage of end of year yarn sales in the last week and as the New Year's deadline approaches I'm having to remind myself constantly that a yarnless world isn't on my horizon.

Yarn hoarding is a insidious and tricky little addiction.
